Meet Sandra Boucher-Bessent The Wise Widow™ Coach Certified Grief Educator

A Guide Who Has Walked This Road

After experiencing the sudden loss of my own husband, I came to understand firsthand the chaos, confusion, and overwhelm that followsnot just emotionally, but practically. The unfamiliar paperwork. The legal responsibilities. The unexpected financial decisions all while grieving.

That experience is what called me to this work. As the Wise Widow™ Coach™ and a Certified Grief Educator — trained through a program developed by renowned grief expert David Kessler — I walk alongside widows during one of the most disorienting seasons of life, offering guidance that honors both the emotional and practical realities of loss.

At the heart of this work is a deep belief in God's promises of comfort and hope.

"The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit." — Psalm 34:18, ESV

You do not need to rush your grief or carry your burdens alone. My role is to bring calm, clarity, and compassionate structure to what feels unmanageable so you feel informed, supported, and capable of taking the next right step.

Together, we turn confusion into clarity, unfinished tasks into manageable action plans, and fear into confidence — one steady, faithful step at a time.

How I Can Help

For Widows

Through 1:1 and group coaching, my Wise Widow™ program helps you navigate the administrative, legal, business, and financial responsibilities that come with spousal loss. We work through what feels overwhelming, step by step, so you can move forward with clarity and confidence.

Soon-to-Be Widows

If your spouse has been diagnosed with a terminal illness, my Widow-Planner program helps you get ahead of the administrative chaos before it arrives so you can focus on what matters most in the time you have.

Pampered Widow Gift Boxes

Long after the flowers have wilted, the casseroles are gone, and the cards have stopped coming, widows still need to feel seen and cared for. I curate comfort-filled grief gift boxes designed to do exactly that.

Ready to take the next right step?

Sandra’s Simple Philosophy

You don't have to do this alone.

Widowhood arrives with grief in one hand and an overwhelming pile of responsibilities in the other. Most widows are expected to make important legal, financial, and administrative decisions in the fog of some of the deepest pain they've ever known — and they're expected to do it quickly, and quietly, and well.

Sandra believes there is a better way.

Grief deserves space. And so does the practical weight that comes with it. You are allowed to feel both — the sorrow and the confusion — without shame, without rushing, and without figuring it all out on your own.

Her approach is built on a simple truth: when a widow feels informed and supported, she can move forward. Not perfectly. Not painlessly. But faithfully — one steady step at a time, with someone walking right beside her.
